Looe is a vibrant town with a flourishing fishing and holiday trade, which has often found itself at the centre of Cornish History.
Our aim is to find out more about out past and to preserve our beautiful surroundings while meeting old and new friends.
We hold a series of monthly talks/presentations (September -May), on a wide range of topics relating to Cornwall; past, present and future. Our meetings are held at St Martin’s Church Hall, St Martin’s Hill, East Looe, on the second Saturday of the month at 14:30 and we welcome new members. Parking is available on site.
A highlight of the meetings is the tea and homemade cake with a chance to chat with other members.
Details of this year’s programme of talks, outings and social events can be found on our events page.
